OMG... Mary Marvel looks just lovely... I follow the Geoff Johns run. I haven't started to read it yet but i got the first 3 issues from comixology on a discount.

I think that since SHAZAM! didn't do as well as it should have done in the movie theater, perhaps being moved to DC Universe streaming service would be better?

Eh. It faced stiff competition, being sandwiched between Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame. It has legs; just give it a chance to use them.

Yeah, it was a dumb move releasing it whem they did. It's such a good film - it would've done better i think with a different release date.

Doesn't look like it would be up against much in August. There's a Fast & Furious spin-off out that month, but can't see anything you'd consider a blockbuster. Certainly no other comic book films out that month.

Agreed.

Also, the design of this "dark" Shazam! could work if we were dealing with a "Dark Age"/Medieval/Barbarian Shazam! character, possibly Oggar the Terrible, the World's Mightiest Immortal. Just a thought.
