Found some pics previously posted in the old appreciation thread.

I've seen other pics of this group. I wonder if there are any other Invaders cosplay groups?

    From Avengers Invaders

From the Marvels Project. More than the Invaders but a great Alan Davis image.

Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

These look great! They are bound editions of the actual comics, ordered, or mapped, by the individual.

I think the idea of mapping the books in chronological historical events is interesting -- but I'd probably do a timeline addendum, rather than putting the books in that order.

For comparison, here's what was really the cover for Invaders #15:

So it has nothing at all to do with the issue, well, other than the team members? I mean, it isn't even the masthead, since the price is different.

The heads in a circle (as opposed to a rectangular box) was used for the first five issues, but from issue #1 the cover price was 25¢, never as low as 20¢ (at least for the U.S. versions).

The price for the U.S. copies went up to 30¢ staring with issue #8, then to 35¢ beginning with issue #22.

I believe they've been collected in color in tpb collections, but I'm not sure that Marvel has deemed it "Essential" to do an even cheaper b&w collection yet.

I'm totally mis-remembering the pricing on this series. I thought it was .20 cents along -- well, except for the Giant Size issues.

I'm pretty sure the Essentials black and white line is defunct. And no, they didn't do Invaders when it was active. Heck, they only did one Namor volume.

But the original Invaders came out in color trade paperbacks twice. Once in four volumes as Classic Invaders. And now, we've got two thick paperbacks under the Complete Collection title.

Now that I think about it, I think everything with Invaders in the title has actually been collected. Am I wrong?

Since MajorHoy kindly posted the cover for Invaders 15, I was happy to find this piece on DeviantArt. I'm not sure what it was for, maybe a commission?

And another of those "Wouldn't it be great if . . . " that we'll probably never have happen:

That is beyond awesome! I would love to see Geoff Johns write a mini-series, or even a one-shot! Excellent find!

When I found that Invaders vs Crusaders piece by David Williams I remembered he had actually done a cover with the Invaders.

Found this Golden Age house ad ... Was the Invaders slogan actually the slogan for All Winners Squad?
