Before there was Kaine, for me it was Miguel. My vol 4 is on the way and vol 5 has been preordered. Hail 2099!
Le Suck it, Dolphin!
-God I am so tired.
SCOTT SUMMERS AND EMMA FROST DESERVED BETTER.
I think having Miguel be a watcher of the timestream was an interesting direction for him, especially in light of what he did during his last run. Not to mention, a version of him was part of the exiles back in the day (even if he was written as Peter Parker lite).
it was a fun cameo, hopefully he'll show up in another feature as a prominent co star. Maybe the next one takes place in Nueva York, making Miles one of the folks who is out of their official Earth.
I liked the two newest volumes and im hopeful for a real 2099 return. I mean Marvel didnt really give Miguel a chance with him not being in the real 2099.
MY Pull List: MARVEL: Amazing Spider-man, Spider-Man 2099, Star Wars DC: Earth 2: society, Superman, Action, Batman, Batman Beyond, titans, teen titans; IMAGE: Lazarus, Outcast, Southern Bastards IDW: Star Trek: Boldly Go VALIANT Ninjak
I think he means that the 2099 depicted in Miguel's return, starting in Superior Spider-Man #17-19, wasn't quite the same as depicted in the original 2099 comics, and every time Miguel or the series returned to 2099 after that, it was an alternate/altered version. First time, it was Future Imperfect 2099. Second time, it was Secret Wars 2099, which bled into Spider-Man 2099 when that series resumed. The third time, it was Sinister Six 2099. The fourth time, Skrulls somehow took over Alchemax/the world and started a purge of superheroes as inspired by the events of Civil War II.
The spider is always on the hunt.
My all-time favorite Miguel O'Hara story.
