I'd love to know how many other fully masked Super Heroes have their masks completely re-designed by each artist as many times as Spider-Man 2099.
PS If you're not Rick Leonardi, your interpretation sucks.

True, for example, when they issued the Titan Heroes action figure of Miguel they inaccurately painted his eyes white so I did not add it to my collection. Plus, the shade of blue they picked for his suit was nowhere near dark enough. By way of contrast, they did a great job on comic book Iron Spider his red and golden markings were spot on.

Agreed. I feel the same way about Kyle Rayner's goofy mask. AFAIK, Darryl Banks was the only artist who could do it justice (also, sorry if I went off-topic).

He will be. He made a small cameo in ASM 25, and will be appearing for a larger arc starting in ASM 32.

Not really, but he is showing up in Amazing 32, which is where the arc actually starts.

Hmm, that would make the coloring errors from when the series/character first launched make more sense in-universe.
