It is. God, I forgot about that. I'm glad you pointed it out, thank you. It looks so much better now. Hickman really likes Bendis UXM, right? I mean, he's used most of what Bendis used, even Animax. I just think it's weird to not have him in his golden skin.

well he's hanging out with Hope and she can stabilize his mutation to bring him back to his original neutral state and not the back and forth between gold and black form he got as his powers evolved

Mothervine can undo DeciMation at a mass scale. We saw that in Bunn's run and Elixir can stabilize the adverse effects of it. Even more so with Hope by his side

Will Hickman acknowledge Mothervine though? I know that's he's been acknowledging stuff like Bendis's run and Trinary, but it feels like Mothervine as a concept just got swept under the table

Indeed, that might be exactly why Extermination happened. Maybe Hickman had no interest in using the X-Men Blue team, so that mini was used to dispose of the time displaced teens and de-age Cable?

Actually, I wonder if that happens in Powers #6? The solicit for X-Men #3 calls mutants the dominant species. Which would mean they've overtaken the number of flatscans!
