So I was thinking about the NXM (from any squad/team), and who'd be considered as the top 20 members. Not necessarily my favorites, but those of the fourth generation of teenage x-students who've really made it in terms of popularity/importance in the world of the x-men/women.

Match is here because of the movie? I would still replace him with Eye Boy who keeps getting used everywhere.

3.Stepford Cuckoos

I think these three are easy the top tier they have been consistently used across many creators.

4.Armor
5.Pixie
6.Prodigy
7.Dust
8.Anole
9.Rockslide
10. Hellion
11.Surge
12.Oya

They all have solid appearances and potential and have been used with some frequency. If combined with group above you have something special so combo of them can hold a book

13.Glob Herman
14.Eye Boy
15.Gold Balls
16.Ink

Writers for some reason seem to like these characters,The freaky visuals I guess make them stand outs. My personal bias doesn't think that they are any good but they keep showing up

17. Tempus-I think the best designed from the Bendis kids.I think she has high impact when ever she is used.
18. Gentle
19 .Nature Girl- The use of her in Marvelous showed me a lot of potential. She is a companion animal/monster away from being used more
20. Honey Badger- Great comedy and still can be used in serious stories

Honorable mention Elixir, Wind Dancer, Hope, Triage and Trinary

There are so many missed character interactions in Rosencanny, but I really hope Loa’s death gets brought up to Elixir. In a way, he could do something for Alani that he could never do for Laurie. I know people don’t want the Rahne thing brought up again, but technically she was also close to Josh and he’d probably still be hit hard by her death.

But really, the only two thing stopping Elixir from resurrecting Laurie or Brian or Sydney or Nick or literally all his friends are:

A) He’d probably have to kill the same amount of people.
&
B) Aaron’s generation still exists and since Jourdain Devoe Off-White worked on them, that’s the only class we’re allowed to care about.

I just read Young X-Men for the first time and it is an unimaginably bad comic.
