Wolverine killed him right after he said he needed Elixir so I’m hoping nothing happens to his powers. Especially with Emma doing what she did at the end. I guess we’ll just have to keep holding out for the mom!Mirage reunion with Josh.

I think people above have covered pretty much every relationship/dynamic above, but what was always impressive about the New X-Men peak was that it was a believable larger group with different dynamics within it. In contrast to the New Mutants, who are one family unit, the New X-Men have/had all sorts going on, when they were actually allowed to grow and develop.

I'd definitely like to see Mercury and Surge more though, because I think Mercury might have "overtaken" Noriko with her relationship with Bling, and might be in a position to work on some of Surge's rough edges (without blunting her, of course).

I love Pixie's energy so I'll take her with anyone, but her & Dazzler was so much fun.

Dust and Jubilee taking some of the "adults" to task/calling them out, or just having a better sense of the feelings of the "lesser" Mutants is something I'd be here for.
