I'd retcon his ass in before you could say 'bughunt'. I for real thought he was classed as a mutant long ago due to his unique non-hive intellect.
Broo couldn't possibly know Wallflower from just... pictures... let's not go down that road - anyway, it seems very unlikely therefore Miss No-Scope 2004(?) must be alive and well.
I thought it was teen Jean, not Laurie
Also I remember a light going dim on Cerebra when Broo got shot through the brain
What would you guys say are the best issues from the New X-Men run of 2004-2008 (#1-46)?
My choices:
5. New X-Men #31 (December, 2006) - "Nimrod, Part IV"
4. New X-Men #6 (December, 2004) - "Battle Lines"
3. New X-Men #36 (May, 2007) - "Mercury Falling, Part IV"
2. New X-Men #45 (February, 2008) - "Messiah Complex, Chapter Eight"
1. New X-Men #27 (August, 2006) - "Crusade, Part IV"
5. New X-Men #28 - “Nimrod, Part I”
4. New X-Men #7 - “HAUNTED, Part I”
3. New X-Men #31 - “Nimrod, Part IV”
2. New X-Men #38 - “Quest for Magik, Part I”
1. New X-Men #43 - “Children of the X-Men, Part II”
Oh shit I forgot about that. Huh-
Hasn't Broo already also been shown on Krakoa? In one of those group shots like Surge was in?
5. New X-Men #19 - The whole House of M excursion was pretty cool, but the big climax really felt like the kids went out as heroes.
4. New X-Men #31 - Hellion pushing himself to his limits for Laura's sake is still one of his best moments.
2 & 3. New X-Men #39 & 40 - Good showing for a lot of the lesser-used kids, like Anole, Rockslide, and Match. Alas, the potential never really got followed up on, and everything interesting about Illyana's new origins kind of got swept aside in the long run.
1. New X-Men #13 - In which DeFillipis and Weir make a silk purse out of a pig's ear by showing the fallout of Wolverine's rampage at the school, and actually made it look like the X-Men as a whole gave a **** about the kids in their care.
If Broo is disqualified from citizenship by his lack of an X-gene, what about X-Men who longer have biological bodies and therefore lack any genes either, such as Mercury and Rockslide?

I only continue to read X-books because I don't spend any money on it.
