I am so tired....actually it’s a good thing that Brisson isn’t writing the New X-Men. It was always gonna be a lose/lose scenario and I’d rather we stick them with a writer who cares enough to read the source material.

I hope other writers other than Brisson get to focus on the younger X-Men that are on Krakoa.

This is such story potential. Especially among the kids like Surge, Hellion, Anole, Mercury, Rockslide, Pixie, etc.

A mutant nation. Having some of their friends back.

I hope we get to see this.

That’s trueee. Plus, I forgot that Trance passes out when she’s not in her body (unless she got over that idk) so she COULD be helping out but I doubt it

Funny you say that, this would be just the book to explore that. Since X-Force is tasked with handling mutant deaths and making sure everything is right before rebirth, something weird happening with Trance could complicate that situation. B it they should go full “ghost girl” with Trance and let her possess people.

I read somewhere that he had been depowered (actually, it was mentioned on page, IIRC), and from my hazy recollections, one of the writers later confirmed that he had *not* been 'on the bus' with the students who got blowed up.

There were like 140 ish students, makes sense they couldn't all have been on that darn bus. My head canon is that a few had family living in state or near enough to go pick them up, and a few were old enough to have their own driver's licenses and access to a parent's car, and be able to not only drive home themselves, but to grab a few friends who lived 'in that direction' and give them a ride.

Yes!!! He was depowered, but spared as he was DeFillipis and Weir's favorite. Either they or Kyost said it in an interview around that time. It was a favor. His grandfather picked him up from the mansion.

I'd be down for Specter and Wind Dancer to get REPOWERED and put on a new team. Just for some change. Also if you really think about it. There are no feisty latina characters on the X-Men roster right now.

Also Preview was depowered but was not on the bus so she is still alive. Sadly, her sister Network was on the bus. That never mad sense to me. My head canon always some of the depowered students clinging to each other and forming collectives. I would love him back among with many more.
