It's hard to choose which ones I specifically like more than others, my preferences are constantly changing. So I ranked them in 3 tiers instead based on how much I want to see more of them.

It's probably a case of "absence makes the heart grow fonder" since I used to really like Anole. But if Disassembled and Age of X-Man proved anything, it's that writers have no idea what to do with him

Rockslide is a jerk with a heart of gold who would do anything for his friends. Nobody past Kyost (who I’m not really a fan of) got his voice right. He got replaced by Quire, who was introduced by Morrison as basically a Nazi school shooter, but who later writers like Aaron and Thompson insist is “good people”. A garbage character that certain progressive allies latch onto for some reason.

I think Glob is more of a Rockslide replacement, QQ functions similarly to Hellion. The other characters generally like Rockslide, no one except Ben Deeds likes QQ.

Cuz quite frankly...if any mutant should have been in LA...it should have been Hellion...it's his bloody hometown

I think Thompson wanted to use Hellion, but an editor suggested she use QQ instead. You can kind of tell from the story because Quentin was basically used as the team telekinetic.
