Scott will probably use Rahne as bait to get Elixir in the open and make him heal them, banking on their previous relationship. Or Warlock just helps. Who knows

Sometimes I forget his relationship with Dani, which does matter. I think it's because the creepy part always stood out or because I always associate her more with David. Anyway, you improved my idea, so it's cool for me. Using Dani as bait would actually be quite smart.

tbf you’re right, Dani was just the New Mutants Squad’s mom. I wouldn’t mind Rosenberg using Elixir as an antagonist to the X-Men since that’s where he logically left off after all the build-up he had from Necrosha to Bunn’s Uncanny X-Men/:Blue. I just feel like that “you may not like it” means he’s either gonna do something irredeemable or get depowered/mutilated/killed.
