I never much liked it to begin with, so I'm not mad. But it's still a fraggin' lazy way to get rid of it. I mean, jeez, just throw in a line about it being temporary and Hank was wrong. Easy and plausible.

If it was sort of like a scab and there was a new, normal arm underneath then that would be a good way to explain it away. But if they are gonna go that route, then they should at least give him a consistent tail.
