I can't believe that Eliott Kalan figured out how to make Glob likeable
But instead we're getting burning candle man who forces his waxy fists literally down (our) throats
Y’all......it’s finally settling in. That really is Loa and I don’t know how to feel.
If they kill Loa, it's going to be the first character that I really like that's going to die in over a decade, I guess.
But I'll take it. RIP, Loa.
Now, where is Trance?
ugh 2019 is gonna be the year of the monkey’s paw. When we get New X-Men to appear, it’s just the same four they keep pushing + Glob at the forefront. When New X-Men come back after years of not appearing, they only show up to die, get written like the writers haven’t read the many book with the characters, and get drawn inconsistently.
I just noticed that Zub said the X-girl will be joining the Champions in issue 3. That actually rules out Honey Badger since she’s already a reserve member as of issue 1. I’m keeping my Surge chances high.
Ouch. Brutal. But Trance is probably showing up in the next issue of Uncanny, then background status in NextGen.
So Editorial doesn't want to let them grow up because it ages the Core too much. But they're sure as hell fine with killing them off for shock value.
What's a good Loa story? I don't remember anything notable with her.
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!
Like recs? If so:
X-Men: Legacy - ‘Collision’ & ‘Fables of the Reconstruction’ arcs
Namor: The First Mutant
Fear Itself: The Deep
Namor: The First Mutant shows her origins and gives her some good character development. The ‘Fear Itself’ mini sort of serves as the next chapter for Loa and how Namor views her. Cullen Bunn wanted to put Lyra and her on his Fearless Defenders series but never got the chance.
