The only thing that interested me about that pointless run was a) the under-utilized Savage Land base and b) the distinct vibe that Betsy was going to hatefuck the MASTER OF MAGNET

That was me in the other thread in response to someone's surprise that Betsy/Psylocke is getting so much attention and two books and how/why that happened. I mentioned killing Magneto was quite a moment for her and now I'm lost on a trip down memory lane.

I felt like too much of Bunncanny, in regards to Betsy and Archangel, felt like just rehashing the Dark Angel Saga and Uncanny X-Force.

Love Betsy but couldnt support her murdering a teammate. That never made sense and Bunn didnt justify her hypocrisy for me. I really wish he had better followup with others finding out what she did and calling her out on it. Rogue should have been the one since they both would go on to be in AXM immediately after this. Even Shadow King could have taunted her

I love Betsy-Magneto dynamic so much. Gillen started drawing them close and Bunn gave us this incredible hatefuck tension... They simply have chemistry together.

I wish some writer aknowledge them as frenemies

I was fine with the battle, but I agree Bunncanny was my favorite series during its run, but throughout it didn't make much sense that Bets never trusted Mags. But followed him still, so when she was finally ready I was like okay here we go. Again, Bets kicking his ass pretty cool but the reasoning didn't match because she functioned as his second in command.

One of the reasons I generally disliked Bunn's Betsy. Also too much whining.

She warned him that she would kill him if he betrayed her and she followed through. I respect that. He sent Mystique to follow her, who ended up deciding to try and kill Betsy. Tough luck, Maggo. His look of shock after being revived was the price of admission.

Hey, did anything ever happen to the Sleepers? I thought they were hella interesting.
