It was setting up their friendship. Ali flat out offers her friendship and Kwannon says she could use one. The writer has already talked about how Ali is one of his faves so I do expect to see him do more with this if he continues writing

Yeah I remember her having it during Remender's run as well. But I don't remember it changing or doing much to her power wise.

Iirc she was able to fly without TK and she busted through a wall to save Fantomexx again without TK. So I believe it did augment her strength as it did Brian's. We shall see though.

Kwannon didnt want nothing to do with Ali's ass. She admitted she needed friends as she turned her back. Thats a pretty clear message.

I enjoyed this issue way more then the previous one. But there is something off in Betsy's voice. I hope they don't strip her away from her badassery now that she's not Psylocke anymore.

edit: Also, the clunky huge armor AND helmet are too much for me.

I think she is just showing her softer side since Jubes & Gambit are in panic mode...but she is trying to remain calm about Brian....right now everything is on her shoulders especially her new title...Betts has gone through alot lately

I still think she will continue kicking ass in combat
