Jessica Jones Appreciation 2019

I'm sure we'll get more Jessica down the line... we've got at least one more season of Jessica Jones and I'm almost certain we'll get some comics around that time to try and take advantage of that.

But I think the sad reality is Jessica is probably NOT popular enough to sustain an on-going indefinately. I think she's popular enough to get revisited time and time again, though. There is something special about the character, and marvel knows it. But it's a tough market.

Well, without a writer who is determined to keep using her and who can sell about 20k issues on the writer's name alone, I think we're relegated to guest appearances for a while.

Since this is the end of Jessica Jones, I sort of hope we do get a Purple Man flash. He's such a big part of the characters history, and I always thought it was a mistake to have her kill him in the first place. I understood it... but I didn't agree with it.

Given how Luke Cage season 2 ended, a part of me sort of wishes he would be the final villain for last season of Jessica Jones. Just to resolve things. But obviously the cancellations blind sided them too much to do anything with any of the lose ends.

Yeah, she was a private detective and not someone who faced off against the same people constantly. Still, some throwback connections to her Jewel days might be appropriate to the tone of her series.

I know nothing of the villain but the trailer is good. Sad to see this series end but 3 seasons of a pretty great adaptation is great. Long Live Jessica Jones.

Odds are you don't need to know anything about him, since there's a good chance they're just using the name only.

Though I believe the second Fool Killer is a psychologist, so that could play into Jessica a bit given she's all sorts of messed up.
