Ivy had her biggest appearance yet in Heroes in Crisis. Showed what Harley and she were up to during their final day in Sanctuary. Her death has still not been shown on panel though.
Yeah she did,
Hummm, not sure how to process HiC, I like it, Ivy and Roy are the only two that I am attached too, so the events are not too aggravating for me.
Ivy will be back soon I'm sure, and I'm glad she is part of a big DC story outside of Gotham.
But, Ivy sounds kinda basic in it, does't have much of her personality, that might be plot related, we'll just have to wait and see.
But so far I'm edging towards a more positive stance on the story.
Also, the rose that Harley threw into the river is the same rose that Ivy was wearing in one of her previous confessionals.
The scenes were quite nice, but again they were ALL about Harley. Like you said, she has very little personality and is only there to give Harley emotional weight.
It is interesting that they haven’t shown her body yet beside the cancelled pinup cover for #7...maybe we’ll get a little more insight on Ivy next issue.
However it’ll turn out, I just want the series to be over so we can move on and hope for someone else to treat Ivy with respect and as a real independent character again...
Ivy in her civilian identity in the new DC Super Hero Girls:
This looks like how the character was initially described as being but didn't align with her first appearance as Poison Ivy in the earlier short.
Will this be like an early Peter Parker situation where Pam postures in her superpowered alter-ego to make up for her lack of confidence?
I'm guessing they're going for a deliberate contrast between "Pam" and "Poison Ivy," where maybe it's not a split-personality issue but Poison Ivy allows her to express herself and be who she is in a way she can't in her civilian identity.
Which I guess isn't too far off from how the Poison Ivy transformation is usually depicted as.
Stjepan Sejic is at it again, and he's not even drawing:
A short while later, by Shaun Riaz:poison ivy in a cowboy hat with a guitar singing a country song.

«Speaking generally, it is because of the desire of the tragic poets for the marvellous that so varied and inconsistent an account of Medea has been given out» (Diodorus Siculus, The Library of History [4.56.1])
That song will never be the same again!
I can't even remember the original name! arrgh
