I think 2018 was a good year for Iceman. His solo provided the opportunity to really delve into Bobby's life, family, relationships and personality outside of the cheesy jokes which sadly is all he's been used for in Uncanny. Hopefully he'll play a larger role in the future and get to showcase the full extent of his powers and interact with other characters in a meaninful way over there as well.

    Hey, Dante! I like accountant!
What Bobby needs now is a role on the team, he's here from the start and he always have been treated as a joke!
I'm sure when he says something intelligent the others are laughing saying he's too funny!
Even when he was leader he was more into cool sunglasses than really leading the team.
Given his impressive powerset and his experience this continues to amaze me!

Agree. He's already on the team, all they need to do is give him a storyline or at least feature him more in whatever story they are telling, as a capable member of the team and not just comic relief.

Like all the other X-Men I first read him in the Classic X-Men series that expanded on the original Giant-Size X-Men by adding a personal look to their lives in between missions.

I... don't think he gets one. At least, I don't remember, because the series mainly focuses on the Giant generation

I saw him next in 90s X-Men cartoon, but only in flashback. I didn't watch all episode and I remember less than half of it, so aside from having cool powers I don't know anything about him.

It wasn't until Bryan Singer's X2 did I get a personal look to him. His relationship with Rogue is cute and I immediately get that his talk with his parents was a coming out analogy.

I really like the flashback scene, even though I don't really care for Judah. I don't like the way Stockman draws faces.

I wouldn't mind the actor Shawn Ashmore reprising the role of Iceman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
