I LOVED #2. The art was stellar and the writing top notch. Such a breath of fresh air for the book. I know I’m in the minority but I think I enjoyed it even more that #1. You can realy see that Chip really loves and cares about this project and this character. Getting some serious cinematic vibes from the settings and the dialogues, especially spoilers:end of spoilers Can’t freaking wait for next month!
between Fisk and Cole.
It would be really interesting if he actually did it, I hope Chip takes us in that direction!
This book is so good. I truly did not expect Chip to go this hard on such a serious book. And once again that art is perfection. As for the big question of “did he do it?” I’d almost be surprised at this point if he -didn’t-. That big splash page of Matt waiting on the rooftop for Kingpin to tell him he set it up, but it never comes? Ugh. Powerful stuff.
I LOVED issue #2. Man oh man. That was great. What an amazing week of comics... between this, Punisher, and Captain America. Three STELLAR books.
I would love for it to involve Mr. Fear. For one, he's underrated. Two, it's good to see another classic Daredevil villain plague Matt as opposed to it being the obvious (Kingpin, Bullseye or the Hand). Lastly, I would love to see Mr. Fear illustrated with the art we have right now.
