If #252 is the Fall of the Mutants tie-in, I think it's one of the stronger stories and helps capture what Nocenti and Romita were able to do together.

Yes, it was that issue. I thought it was quite powerful, with the escaped convict finding the baby and Daredevil about to reveal that he was Matt to Cain before he died.

What is DD's connection to Black Widow and how do other teams like the Avengers view DD?

Black Widow and Daredevil dated for a long time. It started when Natasha saved Matt's life and then Matt defended her in trial. They moved in together in San Francisco. Eventually, they broke up when Matt moved back east and Natasha chose not to do so. They've remained friends, though.

During this time, Daredevil is seen as basically an ally of the Avengers but only teamed up with the Avengers rarely. Black Widow was basically in the same boat. I don't believe she formally joined the Avengers until the 90s, but my recollection is fuzzy.

I just picked up the first two issues of Man Without Fear, but haven’t read them yet. What’s the general consensus on those books?

I enjoyed issue 1 and 2 was better. General consensus is 2 was better than 1. That's all we have so far haha.

New thread and a new year of the Great Murdock.

This year my hunting includes Waid's run and maybe Soule if the OHC are out.

CB Cebulski on Twitter saying the new run is taking a lot from Miller & Mazzuchelli. Zdarksy seems to be really pationiate on twitter too. I’m excited!

Yeah, when it comes to those sort of things, hardcovers for sure have the advantage.

No, unfortunately not. I'm all ears and monitor collected editions, so if I hear anything I'll be sure to post here.
