MAN WITHOUT FEAR: DEATH OF DAREDEVIL TPB
    Written by JED MACKAY
Penciled by DANILO S. BEYRUTH, STEFANO LANDINI & IBAN COELLO
    Cover by KYLE HOLTZ
Daredevil is gone. The former Man Without Fear has succumbed to his grievous injuries suffered in the epic “The Death of Daredevil” storyline. But Hell’s Kitchen remains, and the neighborhood Daredevil defended is still a place of heroes…and villains. Now, Matt Murdock’s friends, family, allies and enemies will all learn what it means to live in a world without Daredevil! Foggy Nelson, Murdock’s best friend and law partner, grieves for his fallen friend — as do the many women who have loved him. Daredevil’s street-level allies the Defenders step up to fill the void he left behind — while Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin and current NYC mayor, celebrates his victory. But who is the mysterious Guardian Devil sighted on the rooftops of Hell’s Kitchen? Without Daredevil to protect it, has hell come for the city Matt loved? Collecting MAN WITHOUT FEAR #1-5.

Ho-hum another incredible cover from Tedesco. Can't wait for this series to launch.

I wonder if the events of War of Realms will ever be referenced in Daredevil.

Aside from that, I'll probably get suckered into buying the event.

It's possible he gets a separate War of the Realms mini or one shot similar to Punisher. I actually think that may be more likely.

He's the big focus of War Scrolls. My question is whether it will ever affect Daredevil's story.

I would much prefer that Daredevil wasn't part of such events, in particular ones that are cosmic inclined. IMHO, it seems off. Anyway, we'll see how it plays out.

Can’t wait for the new title. The covers are dope and the way there’s nothing in the solicits says to me they’re hopefully crafting an instant classic.

I doubt War of Realms will affect the main title. That’s probably why he’s the lead in the scrolls tie in.

While I would typically agree with you as I do love that Daredevil has a bit of his own self-contained universe that doesn't require someone to pay attention to all the grander Marvel events, given that the new series is about to launch it wouldn't hurt to promote him a bit more in broader events in an effort to attract some new readers. Also, the premise does sound pretty cool so I will certainly give it a shot.

Yes, it definitely seems as if Marvel are pushing the Daredevil "brand". I wouldn't want him to reach Spider-Man and Wolverine status (I doubt it will happen) where he has to guest star in every other character's run.

It's a light week for me, so I'm going to go to the store next week and read the last two.

I liked the last Man Without Fear. The first issue was awfully heavy-handed, but this issue was the best-written of the bunch, I think.

I think I liked #2 the most so far. But yes, definitely enjoying it, although I haven't gotten #4 yet. Possibly Saturday.

Pleasantly surprised by Man Without Fear. It's an interesting character study. But I can't wait to have Szarsky take over. I think it will be a legendary run!
