I'd be all about it. Especially if handled by a decent artist. Those first 6 or so issues were tough to look at. For that matter, the armored 90's version sucked a LOT mostly because of the artist at the time. When he guest starred in a Spider-man comic at the time it actually looked pretty good. Though nothing beats the classic red.
I read that after this arc he was supposed to be going 'back to basics' and keep the yellow suit for a while. I would have enjoyed that. For a while at least... when push comes to shove it's the Red one that's iconic.
