Yeah it probably is. The inverted colors look good in live action. And I felt like this costume was a bit more sleek/clean than her other ones.

I think you make a good point

For me the irritating thing is not how powerful she is supposed to be, or that she might be most powerful, it is rather other like Thor and witch were for much time less powerful than their comic versions to have some balance but they have reversed that process for carol's character

It is only irksome in that I would have liked more Thor and Wanda showing s like in infinity war as standard, which seems to be their intent with carol

Thor was pretty underpowered for most of the films (save IW when he got a new weapon) and his levels were comparable to Iron Man. Hulk is super strong but lacks the energy blasts and flight that make Carol an even bigger threat. Vision wasnt really uber powerful and Wanda didnt become until IW. Carol blows all of them out of the water though. For her to be a regular member, I see them giving her a power downgrade much like they did Thor. Yes there's always been an imbalance but now its not even close.

Carol had a superiority complex in this film and she did look down on the squabbles on Earth like it was beneath her. She's out in the universe fighting wars and making best use of her powers. The time heist would have been a waste of her time bc like you said, her raw power would have added nothing. Her raw power however is helping countless lives elsewhere. Ultimately she wasnt needed. Other than people wanting to see her interact more with the group, what could she have added that wasnt already covered in that mission?

So basically they had her acting like Silver Surfer? Lol

Oh, I thought we were just talking about the movie. Though if we're talking about the movies then it's a little unfair, since I can't think of any Marvel character that had a change in hairstyle that's lasted as long as Carol.

I was thinking Phyla-Vell-esque when it comes to the inverted for Carol, standard for Mar-Vell color scheme.

At least there hasn't been an article written analyzing the deeper meaning behind Carol's hair in the movie as has been Natasha. Podcasts analysis about Carol's hair (suggesting that it and her clothing at the end of the movie are telegraphing an LGBT direction), sure , but not a written article.
