Kotobukiya has (FINALLY) just announced a Captain Marvel for their ArtFX+ line. A current (or just past current – short hair!) comics version, not a take on the movie adaptation... I think LillyIB said somewhere upthread that this is the year of our Captain Marvel spending. I let my wife know that there was going to be a bit of budget busting on the CM line item this year...

This looks about as good as I hoped Koto would deliver.

It's still active as per recent issues of Immortal Hulk, at least up to the point where Absorbing Man peels open like a banana and traps himself, Hulk, Puck and several others in literal Hell.

Of course, I knew this was gonna happen sooner or later. I was praying for 'later', like, 'in an annual I can pretend was never published' later. And sure, I'll still buy the issue and shove it in a longbox because I'm weak and have collectors' mania, but...not reading it. Not letting it take up personal space in my headcanon.

I know a lot of you, maybe all of you, are okay with letting the past die and forgiving little miss brain rapist, it's all harmless fun, sure she can show up and be an anchor to an unsavoury past during Carol's biggest ever year, why not, blah blah blah.

I do not forget, I do not forgive, she already wasted what little second chance I could offer* and at this point, the only place I'd like to see her in a comic I own is in a pile of fresh corpses at the feet of the Dark Judges.
