I have a thought that is PURE SPECULATION (which so weird I'm not going to say what it is!), but I believe there is reason why this person wanting vengence is shown wearing black gloves and what appears to be flat bottom black boots.

Also, this mystery revenger seems to want to strike Carol a series of blows to hit Carol at her greatest weakness: her EGO. This person looks like the person who Nucular man got the information about Carol's and Rogue's past and revel's in Carol's news story being a hit piece instead of being a puff piece. It looks like the next blow will come in July.

I still like the blue-red combo more than this red-blue Mar-Vell inspired combo. Not that Im complaining; I'm thrilled Carol is in the MCU and has had such a great showing (both in the films and the box office), but I do prefer Carol's own color scheme to the Marv one.

Agree on preferring Carol in her “own” colors and I hope that we see the evolution of the suit in her future MCU appearances.

That's a great design and a great look for Carol. It's the waist sash that makes it work, imo.

I was hoping for Grace Valentine, but Minnerva probably makes more sense.

She was pretty insignificant on the movie and her comics version is nothing like it. For me it just looks more line Minn-Erva cause she's on some sort of weird lab talking about "work".

Yeah, it was the lab aspect (and possibly weird creature aspect) that made me think Minerva.
