During UnCanny Avengers, the Red Skull dug up and stole Charles Xavier's brain and merged it with his own. He used it to mind control Rogue several times including one to beat the crap out Deadpool. Carol will probably have to find a way to shock Rogue out of it.

edit: besides rogue needs a power dampner to not absorb everyone around her nowadays at range nowadays with MR and MRS X and she doesn't seem to keep her WM powers up. So this fight gonna be weird unless it's an alt reality rogue.

The year of Captain Marvel merch rolls on...

I don't generally love all the "cute" big head figures that so many companies do, but sometimes I do. I do usually like Q-Figs' figures. They are doing a movie Captain Marvel. I like it.



Also, the other evening I was at home, spacing out, while my 4yo daughter was talking to her mom about our cat. And she's saying, "You know, our cat's not really an Earth cat. She's an alien that looks like a cat." And I'm of course thinking to myself, That's funny, because Carol has a cat that's— when she says, "She's a Flerken," and I was like WhaaattheWHaaaAaaaAaat??

I had forgotten that I got her this book a couple of weeks ago and she's been reading it to herself. I laughed.
