She is just being pragmatic (with the proposal), factual (explaining whats new), and RESPECTFUL (in explaining where she's been). I don't see anyone getting all up in Rhodey's face for being rude and calling her out. She responded that with a polite reality check AND flattery. If Steve had proposed they go steal the stones from Thanos, the net would be lit with fire about how boss Steve is and how he not backing down. Tony is arrogant AF at nearly every turn but again hailed for having swagger.

I noticed that, if that's the version they're gonna use in the movie, they used a take(or just edited the same one?) where Carol doesn't look down at Stormbreaker for a second lol. So more of a "she didn't even flinch!" reaction.

today issue was nice to read brought back the old Rogue and Captain Marvel feud. Although researching the history behind it shows that they haven't had that many interactions between one another.

Yeah, it's a handful, but they're meaningful. There was the initial fight, Carol being upset at Rogue joining the X-Men, and then I think not until Brian Reid's run. Rogue's internal psyche version of Carol has probably had more fights with Rogue, tbh.

The defeat isn't surprising. DC's power level is so many million times higher than Marvel's that unless the match is intentionally hideously one-sided, DC will win 99.99% of the time. Part of the reason I don't really read DC outside of street level bad guys.
