Maybe she could trade costumes with some male teammate, like Daimon, to avoid needless cheesecake.

Hope to see this new series return Jess to the mysterious “Dark Angel” like she was in her original series. Lately she’s been written a bit watered down and campy.

Bummed about the new costume being sidelined for now but excited that Tini is writing Jessica. Really looking forward this.

I'll never understand why her last series decided to make her a mother. Nothing against heroines who are also parents, but why add the baggage? I liked Jess's Dark Angel period in her original series, but I also liked the Claremont period that was more straight-forward super hero stories. I barely recall the Bendis series, but was not very impressed with it. Her most recent series was just to far a departure from classic Spider-Woman.

I'm sure there will be a lot of discussion regarding the return to her classic outfit. I never saw the need to get rid of it. I thought the street-level outfit was fine if she was just doing investigative work -- not fighting villains. But the glasses and mini-glider wings sucked big time.

she didn't need a kid. but, honestly, i don't think it detracted from her series. i was super worried that the motherhood aspect of it would make Jessica less interesting. but she was just as much an action hero afterwards. her personality didn't change. and she had no problem leaving the baby in the care of others.

Well that book went from being "meh, not interested" to dang it now I gotta buy it!! Not only is Jess back but she's in the costume she should have never left behind. Not that I really minded the new one...but this is Spider-Woman!

I'm really excited to see what Tini Howard does with her. It's going to be so good you guys.

Also, Jessica's first appearance was re-printed in today's issue of Marvel Tales: Spider-Man #1 today.

I think it honestly started from either the editor or the writer realizing that the whole post-Secret Wars "eight months later" thing would work really well for a development like that.

They did it because Dennis Hopeless had just had kids of his own and had a story to tell. I was surprised, but as far as superhero pregnancies go, it was incredibly well done. I love seeing Jess as a mom. It's all explained in the letters pages of the first arc.

I wish! No - Tini Howard is writing StrikeForce and has added Jessica to the team in her old costume.

I just saw that. I love the original costume for the nostalgia, but it’s basically her nude with some webpits.

I'll never get where people get this from. There's really nothing about her costume that's nude. It's a form fitting costume that covers her from head to toe with the only skin showing being the opening at her mouth.

Because 9 times out of 10 an artist draws it more like body paint than spandex and outline very... personal parts of Jessica. Secondly, spandex sucks breasts in rather than making the boobsock look the original outfit bis often drawn as having.
