They're trying to turn her into a female Peter Parker now? didn't ilike the new costume
They shouldn't be. Save that for Ultimate Jessica Drew (who I like, by the way, and wish had gotten a series of her own, limited or ongoing). The charm of 616 Jessica is that aside from the Spider-prefix name, her origin and development were completely separate from Peter Parker's.
The spider is always on the hunt.
Sounds cool, but I think it might be better reserved for "special" occasions, if Jess were to wear it at all. To answer your question, though, the Eidolon Warwear was (sadly) destroyed in Tales of the Marvel Universe #1-2 back in late 1996/early 1997. Of course, given the alien nature of it . . .
The spider is always on the hunt.
Looks like Kaare Andrews is a variant? And Peach Momoko has one too.

Those last two variants made the costume look a lot better in my eyes. I think it'll grow on me.
You know, the mask being black is a really bad idea - her hair is black, so that's going to clash. And as already mentioned, the webbing makes her look too much like Peter. She doesn't have webshooters, so that doesn't make sense (though she did once say she'd like some - maybe Gwen will give her hers, since she no longer needs them as her symbiote grants her organic webs?).
Huntsman Spider is right, this would've suited Ultimate Jessica. She's Peter's clone (she has Jessica's names, but is actually Scarlet Spider's counterpart), thus she does have web shooters, and her hair is brown, so both problems are averted. The costume design isn't that bad - it's just not suitable for 616 Jessica.

But Julia's was better -- and she had strawberry blonde hair which contrasted nicely with the black. I don't find any element of the new design positive. If Marvel (or rather, Disney) thinks that stuff that works in films will work in comics, they are mistaken. Traditional fans are turned off by modern Marvel -- and there aren't many new fans coming along to fill the void. This kind of corporate decision (and yes, I'm blaming corporate -- certainly hope it wasn't the creative' team's idea) almost always fails.
