To be honest, I'd find her a little more boring if she wasn't a civilian with the glut of Marvel Superheroes .

Not that I don't think MJ as a Superhero would be interesting, just not on a permanent basis.

Doesn't look like MJ though. Why didn't they use Mary Jane Noir from the Spider-Man Noir-verse. She's a social activist who fought in the Spanish American War.

She wouldn't have fit the Hollywood aesthetic they're going for with the cover? They went for a more glamorous image here, befitting a Hollywood starlet.
