    Wow, alright. Thanks everyone.

    My competition were all vote worthy covers, but it's nice to see Princess Leia getting some respect. I don't have an idea fro a new contest ready yet, but I'll have something up as soon as I do.

    New contest is up. It's a little similar to previous contests, but hopefully different enough to keep everyone interested.

    Congratulations to Tami for a marvelous cover showing the first female icon of the Star Wars universe. She certainly grew up as character, or more accurately, we and her creators grew up.

    As to what the captain has learned this week, he has been reacclimated to the romance of the royalty fantasy world. Overall, it's very similar to the superhero fantasy where a common person longs for power to accomplish tasks. We see much overlap here between royalty and superheroing, but even in this modern time, the urge to be king or queen seems to be more socially acceptable than throwing on a cape and flying around the world. That is something I do NOT understand, but it is a complicated world out there.
