I'd have thought Black Cat would've been there some where for finally being rid of the Queenpin persona, relearning Spideys I.d and starring in a successful solo series.

And Wasp is literally the only one in this entire list of characters who hasn't had an ongoing/mini (had to double check for Beast and Human Torch but yeah)

Amazed to see Cyclops do so well and surprised that Reed did better than Johnny or Sue. Wanda jumped 16 places from 34 to 18 which I'm happy with. Also interesting very few villains made the list , no Osborn or Doc Ock for example and no supporting cast like MJ or Jonah

OF course I thought Tony should have been higher, but I was glad to see Daredevil and Dr. Strange get a lot of love. Those are 2 characters I have a tremendous amount of affection for.

I'm always shocked at so many of the characters that are about the Sub-Mariner. Then in the same breath, I'm shocked poor Namor makes the list at all.

Wow....didn't even know there was a poll running. It's hard to find Brian Cronin's very entertaining stuff on CBR these days. It keeps getting pushed off the front page.

Glad to see Doom is still in the top ten. The new series by Cantwell is terrific

Captain Marvel is supposed to be the top female of this universe, but she dropped six places from the previous poll and trails other female characters.

Yeah, I don't recall seeing anything on the boards about this poll, so probably not so many actual posters here participating this year. Was there a thread?

Of course, Doom is top ten! ;p

What's surprising is that Namor has held pretty steady, without any announcement in his appreciation thread.

If you look at that list, Namor is the ONLY character in that poll who has NOT appeared in a movie or TV show. She-Hulk and Moon Knight both are in the animated shows, plus they have consistently been pushed in the Marvel games over the last four years, as well as the comics. Pretty good showing for a character that Marvel doesn't support.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

The poll was mentioned a couple of times of the front page, you had to email your choices.

After CBR got bought I stopped going to the front page or any page, other than the forums. I got completely bogged down with ads. Not to mention, the content became ... more about clicks than articles and news I was interested in. Before CBR got bought, the articles actually got threads on the forums, which prompted many a good conversation as well as kept folks informed.

Woo, thanks to Hank and Janet squeaking in at 41 and 49, all of the founding Avengers made it! (I was afraid Hank & Jan wouldn't make it at all.)

Not seeing Johnny Storm, so it looks like the founding FF members did not all make the cut...
