    There are any number of ways to age children. Baby Rambeau wouldn't be the first to age in the blink of an eye to adulthood. Lots of pocket dimensions out there where Time works differently.

    I'd never automatically assume that they'd bring back Monica, if they killed her off. Quite the opposite. They could kill Monica, but arrange it so that Monica and Adam have conceived, the embryo being saved and brought to term via surrogacy. Scarlet Witch offers to carry the baby to term. Wanda and Adam become close as a result, leaving some to speculate. A few months later Monica's child is born, a little girl, who grows up admiring Captain Marvel (Carol). Voila, the comic books begin to parallel the MCU...sort of.

    Monica appears to merge with people quite often. I wonder if she every considered going to medical school? With her eidetic memory and powers she could become a specialist in multiple medical fields in no time. Dr. Monica Rambeau has a nice ring to it.

    We can only hope for positive reviews for Maria in the movie. I'm still not sure why it was absolutely necessary to tie Monica's history to Carol, but perhaps that will be made abundantly clear in the future when Monica appears in a future Avengers movie? I just hope that they didn't create Maria just to kill her off, or give Carol a sidekick.

    Yes, I know. I figured it would be kind of an inside joke. Dr. Spectrum being the Green Lantern analog. John Stewart at one point being the more popular Green Lantern, just as Monica at one point was the more popular Captain Marvel.
