True. I was just specifically thinking the Avengers because I was rereading Busiek's run the other day, and realized Silverclaw and Triathlon somehow made out even worse than Monica in the long run.

Yeah, Triathlon didn't fare too badly, actually. He was an ongoing cast member for a while in THE INITIATIVE, and played a prominent role in the "Secret Invasion" tie-in arc. After that he was used in the SKRULL KILL KREW miniseries, and then after that was made a member of the Agents of Atlas for their short-lived ATLAS series. And he's made occasional appearances here and there since then as well (such as being part of a team of reserve members thrown together in an emergency by Valeria Richards in AVENGERS WORLD). It's bad enough that the movie completely destroyed Carol's origin story. At some point I hope they realize that they are not making her better. Quite the contrary. They better not even think about integrating that movie crap into Monica's canon. Originally Posted by Amenra11

I'll say this much about Monica in the MCU. Now that the powers that be know everything that they did wrong to push Carol, perhaps when (not if, but when) they decide to push Monica the transition will be that much easier. Thoughts?
