Oh really? There’s a one shot with Wolverine and Captain? I’ve to check out
Yeah, but that sadly turned out to be a Skrull impersonating Jarvis.

Don't expect Venom Cap to look as cool on the show as he does in this promo art though.

When Steve first signed up? No. They didn't tell him anything. He thought Project Rebirth was strictly about helping the WW2 effort. And Steve had nothing to lose. He was poor, with no family left alive, very young (17 when recruited, 18 when receiving the serum) and sickly. He always figured these things were why he appealed to them. But gradually, through the years, and in various storytelling, he's found out more and more, and with each bit of knowledge he's gained he gets more and more horrified. If you want some reading suggestions on this read Truth: Red, White and Black by Robert Morales and Deadpool: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly by Brian Posehn (Cap and Wolverine teamed up with Deadpool to undercover some Weapon Plus cloning atrocities).

Steve Rogers is a good man. He says it there, clearly, if he could take away all the pain and suffering Isiah Bradley endured through Weapons Plus program and take it onto himself, he would. So that's why I said there's already a precedence set for his reaction to the horrible things that the Weapons Plus program does.

You are correct, good catch! Thank you! Got my years mixed up.
Thank you so much. Steve is really an honourable man :)

Ad for Captain America #13 (out in August) from some of yesterday's releases. Looks like we'll finally find out who Dryad is. Any guesses? I keep alternating between Natasha and Rachel (Diamondback).

Cap #13 will also be the first issue with artist James Masters replacing Adam Kubert. Next week's issue #12 is Kubert's last issue.

This Adam Hughs variant for Captain America #15 (from the October solicitations) is rad. Looks like I'm buying two issues of Cap that month because I want both the Alex Ross cover (to have the entire set) and this one.

As a side-note: Looking forward to seeing Jessica Drew and Steve team-up for this issue.

Reminds me of when MJ and Cap got along well back when the Parkers were living in Avengers Tower .

Those two panels were just about perfect, especially if this was around the time of the original Civil War.

Yes, that was the Civil War tie-in comic but wow are those panels timeless. Got to hand it to Brubaker, he was on-point. I do have a few minor gripes with his run, but when it comes to poignancy he was all over that.

Preview pages for Captain America #12 due out next week on 7/31/2019. This will be Adam Kubert's last issue before he's replaced by Jason Masters.
