Absolutely agree with both of you, I would love to see Zdarsky on a Cap run. He not only wrote a great Steve in Invaders, but I loved his Steve in Spider-Man Life Story as well. He has the character pretty much nailed.

Outlawed cover...
Makes me very happy that Steve will be in this book, fighting for the voices of the youth. Shows natural growth/progression as a person/character from Young Avengers, when his experiences with Bucky had him feeling that younger heroes maybe shouldn't be on the battlefield. But he made a good point in that preview for Outlaw (which I posted a few pages back). He, himself, was 18 when he signed up for Project Rebirth, he was but a babe himself and he wanted a voice in what was going on, which everyone should be allowed.
I LOVE the cover for Captain America #20. L-O-V-E it. So Bond...
Writers excel when focused on character. Brubaker pulled it off with this issue 49 that explored Sharon’s inner struggles recovering from her mind control vis a vis Faustus and Skull.

Coates has a similar style.
Okay, the solicitation is both intriguing but also says nothing at all:
CAPTAIN AMERICA #20

SPIDER-WOMAN VARIANT COVER BY BEN CALDWELL
ALL DIE YOUNG! The ramp-up to CAP #25 begins!
Even the title of the arc is Bond-y. "All Die Young". Coates, man, you're alright. The reference to death and youth probably means Selene is coming back to the book. Finally. Though with the state of the X-Men being what it is, I wonder how they're going to rectify that... never mind *headdesk* I keep forgetting that this book is in the past, probably before Krakoa.
I love that, with the March solicits, it looks like we're finally getting resolution to a lot of long-time arcs. Looks like the current Cap book is going to end at #25, so we get to tie-up Selene, the Power Elite and Hydra!Cap. And in the Avengers solicit for March, it looks like we're FINALLY (it's only been ten thousand years) getting back to the Squadron Supreme/Winter Guard/Defenders of the Deep vs. Avengers stand-off.
Very much agreed.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing that resolution, too. The possible superpowered world war in Avengers will be an incredible spectacle, I'm sure, but I'm also looking forward to the Cap book on account of its allegory of the ongoing battle for the soul of America. Definitely food for thought.
The spider is always on the hunt.
