Ulysses 31!
Welp, Captain Marvel #12 is worse than expected, major spoilers:
spoilers:end of spoilers
Carol defeats Thor after a lengthy fight that ends with her separating him from Mjolnir and somehow making it not return to his hand because of course Thor is useless without the damn hammer. At the end of the issue she presents his severed head to a new villain named Vox Supreme, a new version of the guys from Death of the Inhumans.
A fitting swansong for Aaron's Jobber Thor.
#RememberThor #NotmyThor
I think an easy way to look at Thanos stories is that anything written by Jim Starlin, Ron Marz and Keith Giffen is the real Thanos while anything written by other authors should be dismissed as a Thanosi clone.
Reading those spoilers hurt my soul.
It's just a part of the reason I don't read many American superhero comics anymore.
So much inconsistency.

That did not fill me with confidence. Still, I have no problem with Thor being put through the wringer so long as he's shown smart, noble, and resourceful.
