    I really doubt one way or another that Thor will be stuck with a metal arm for the foreseeable future.

    I mean, I was more sure he would keep the eyepatch in the movies, and that certainly didn't stick .

    While somewhat of a fair point, I for one would like Aaron's Thor to be "THE" future Thor.

    This is mainly because I rate Thor God of Thunder as one of the best Thor stories (in "recent times"), which he (Future Thor) played a prominent role.

    Not sure if that was his first appearance...

    currently, King Thor is the only good thing about Thor.

    "King" Thor.... that was it.

    (I knew there was a designation but couldn't for the life of me remember at the time).

    Hickman is back at Marvel, hopefully he takes the Thor book.
    Man, I'd be so happy if that happens.

    Doubtful, imo. The "descriptions" of what he may be writing don't look like anything Thor related.

    It seems a lot like something X-Men related.

    Nah man, the X is tired of hated/feared troupes. What we're looking at is the escalating conflict between humans and all the Asgardians now living on earth! People are afraid that all those gods are going to breed with people and humanity will be replaced by a new race of half-Asgardian demi-gods.

    Seriously though, it does sound X related.

    Talking Happy Thor's Day!

    Thor #401 Mar 1989
    "The Wager"
    In Asgard, 1,000 years ago, a much younger Thor accepts a wager from Loki;
    Thor will travel to Midgard, and join a Viking expedition to the new world;
    He will not have his power and will be unable to use Mjolnir;
    If he fails, he will be exiled to Midgard forever and give up all claim to the throne;

    Of course, Loki has plans to win and cheats.

    Script by Randall Frenz, pencils by Rich Yanizeski, inks by Hector Collazo

    So do you think this War of the Realms is going to see the return of Mjolnir? I mean i know that something big is going to happen with that star where Jane hurled it to along with the Mangog, almost looks like a new world tree tbh but would something of his old hammer also surface?

    My theory has always been that the golden hammer will be related to yiggrassil. I would need to check but I don’t think we have seen the golden hammer yet.

    The sap colour from the tree was depicted in the same bright gold.

    hope not because Thor will get too intimate with the hammer.
