Anyway, as for Thor's journey and what future we could see with him, I'd like to see this.

Have him hang out with the Guardians in their next movie, show that he has moved on, he is still depressed but no longer a joke or self pitying himself, he tries to find new purpose with them, kicks some ass in the process, and by the end of the movie he realizes he needs to be there for his people, and comes back to New Asgard.

Enter Thor 4, where we see his journey back into the mighty god he was in Ragnarok and IW.

Pretty sure the self pity was gone by the end of the current film. He was ready to move on and find a new path in life.

I agree. Through the jarring appearance, he's still Thor and had good characterization I felt. This Thor really went through some ****.

Another thing is Hemsworth next project is the Hulk Hogan biopic and he said in an interview that he will be changing his training style which right now is mostly functional stuff into that of a powerlifter who usually results in some serious muscle mass gains so if he doesn't changes much to play the next Thor, thick Thor could probably look massive in the next Guardian.

I was wondering what you were talking about until I realize they keep calling She-Hulk "Hulk" for some reason. I thought Thor and Bruce Banner were having some weird dynamics for a second there .

Once he realized he was still worthy of Mjolnir, he seemed to get his confidence back.

It can't really though because the context and histories are so different. That's why Marvel's more overt attempts at synergy just seem so ham-fisted sometimes.

Absolutely agree, writers have to walk a fine line between authentic character development and corporate oversight

Just came home from re-watching the movie with my mother who hadn't seen it, she loved the movie, but one of her comments was "I'm so disappointed with Thor, he's supposed to be the god of thunder".

Yesterday I was also chatting with a friend of mine about the movie and she loved it as well, I asked her "who was your favorite Avenger in this movie" and she said "everyone except Hulk and Thor, they did nothing"........
