Peter Parker forever! Pete is, and always will be, my primary Spider-Man. Long live the Spider GOAT.

Kinda surprised it took a while for the 2019 thread, Miles, Felicia and MJ got one before him lol.

Anyways, you guys have any theories about who that Centipede creature is? So far, he just knows about Peter and can apparently drag someone in and out of hell, and says something about knowing all about living in someone's shadows, perhaps he's referencing Mephisto, does that ring any bells? Only demon I remember Spidey dealing with besides Mephisto is Zarathos (Some story during Secret Wars II had a bet between Beyonder and Mephisto, Zarathos was supposed to slow down Spidey so he's too late to stop Kingpin's murder, but Spidey managed to defeat him), maybe it's him? Or could it be someone else?

To me, 2019 is more the year of the 80th anniversary of the founding of Marvel Comics started in 1939 as Timely Comics but Sony's Spider-Man most certainly is one of the marvel characters to be included to celebrate all of the marvel comics 'giants' who's creation and comicbook series turned marvel comics into a comicbook empire. Of course this also goes for Fox's Fantastic Four and X-Men.

    Talking Happy Birthday Greg LaRocque!!!

    Marvel Team-Up #138 Feb 1984
"Starting Over!" Guest-starring Spider-Man and the Sandman.
After a long conversation with Ben Grimm in Marvel Two-in-One 86,

the Sandman decided to give up his criminal ways and instead attempt to lead a normal law-abiding life.
Now several months later, Spider-Man's long-time foe is struggling to make ends meet.
Meanwhile, the Kingpin's right-hand man, the Arranger, re-organizes the Enforcers to better control an extortion operation in Brooklyn.

When the Enforcers rough up a Brooklyn store owner who also happens to be Flint Marko's landlord,
the Sandman goes after Fancy Dan, Hammer, Montana, Snake Marston and the Ox!
And when the former villain finds the Enforcers...he also finds their bound captive...Spider-Man!

Is the Sandman going to rescue the web-slinger?

Script by Tom DeFalco. Art by Greg LaRocque (breakdowns) http://www.comicsreporter.com/index....greg_larocque/ and Mike Esposito (finishes).

In the comics the character does fine but in the cinemas... the character actually died in 2018 and so did his creators
