    Heck yeah! Spider-Man!!
2019, just like 2018, is the Year of the Spider!
When you can do the things I can, but then you don't, and then the bad things happen? They happen because of you. Because I learned an invaluable lesson all those years ago: that with great power, there must also come great responsibility.

Staying Amazing, Spectacular, Sensational, and Friendly for 56 years!

Peter Parker forever! Pete is, and always will be, my primary Spider-Man. Long live the Spider GOAT.

Kinda surprised it took a while for the 2019 thread, Miles, Felicia and MJ got one before him lol.

Anyways, you guys have any theories about who that Centipede creature is? So far, he just knows about Peter and can apparently drag someone in and out of hell, and says something about knowing all about living in someone's shadows, perhaps he's referencing Mephisto, does that ring any bells? Only demon I remember Spidey dealing with besides Mephisto is Zarathos (Some story during Secret Wars II had a bet between Beyonder and Mephisto, Zarathos was supposed to slow down Spidey so he's too late to stop Kingpin's murder, but Spidey managed to defeat him), maybe it's him? Or could it be someone else?

I don't remember when I first saw Spider-Man. He's one of those super popular heroes that's already there and surrounds you before you can even speak.
It could be a giant wall decal in an indoor playground.
It could be one of the cheap superhero stickers they sold right outside the school.
It could be Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends.
What I remember was I can't drew him as easy as Superman, Batman and Robin because of his costume XD

I spent a year or so of my youth being quite scared of Spidey.

I used to have recurring nightmares Peter would come out of my closet and attack me.

I was also pretty scared of the Marvel Animation Logo at the end of every episode of Muppet Babies

Yeah, Peter's appreciation thread was never one of the more popular ones. Discussions such as new issues just get new threads instead.

    Talking Happy Birthday Keith Pollard!!!

    Amazing Spider-Man #188 Jan 1979
    "The Jigsaw is Up!"
After laying low for a few months, Jigsaw wants to return to a peaceful life of crime...by avoiding any and all super-heroes!
So the disfigured hitman picks an easy target for his next caper: a midnight boat cruise around Manhattan!
But poor Jigsaw doesn't know that a group of long-time friends have decided to take the boat ride too!
Namely Flash, Sha Shan, Harry, Liz, Mary Jane, Betty and Peter!
Once Jigsaw grabs Harry and Liz at gunpoint,

the wondrous wall-crawler swings into action!

And Jigsaw's worst nightmare comes true: another clash with the Spectacular Spider-Man!

Cameo appearances by John Jameson and Aunt May.
NOTES: Jigsaw formerly appeared in Amazing Spiderman 162 and returns in the first issue of the Punisher Limited Series (1986).
The letters page includes a lengthy letter from comics writer Kurt Busiek.
