I wish they would put Thanos on hiatus after the final OGN by Starlin comes out.

Did you know that Thanos and Thor teamed up in Peter David's run on Captain Marvel and Jim Starlin's Infinity Finale?

Yes, I knew about the Thanos/Thor team-up in Peter David's Captain Marvel with Jim Starlin's artwork. And I simply loved it, especially when Genis, Rick & Marlo got involved. Finding out Marlo was the secret vessel for Lady Death was shocking, but not unexpected.

Peter David's Captain Marvel is criminally underrated imo. Loved the banters between Genis and Rick

Agreed. Peter David's dialogue is unmatched, and he certainly knows how to spin a good yarn.

About the latest issue of Cates GOTG:

    1) why the heck Nova (the real Nova) and the Black Order are using guns?

    2) Dang it Marvel, put the Thuggish version of Thanos in a freezer for a decade already! He's not the only cosmic villain writers could use you know. No one can write Thanos well but Jim Starlin.

    3) At least Star-Lord Is not a clown under Cates.

    I mean, spoilers:
they put him in a black hole. Granted, that didn't seem to stop all those heroes that got sucked in, so he'll surely be back. And he's half-brain dead.
    end of spoilers

Thanos has survived an artificial black hole in Infinity Abyss.

But i'm more concerned with Cates turning Hela (a mid-skyfather character) and the Black Order into jobbers.

Besides Thanos has been half-brain dead since 2013 when he wasn't written by Starlin.

Thanos #4 was another interesting issue, but the last page says the next issue (#5) Is the grand finale of the series, even though there were solicitations for 6 issues. Did it get cut short?

I hope the sales didn't drop off that dramatically from the first issue. I really like this mini!

Thanos has a rather decent showing in Marvel Comics #1000. But in the end, he's defeated by Galactus and gets carried off to parts unknown.
