Yeah, like I said, some artists definitely draw it as a paint job, but I really can't look at those images and see it as her hair when the coloring, lighting and position clearly shows it's something separate:

The first time she appeared in comics, there was no black thing in her hair at all:

And there's also the fact that at one point the circle on the back of her hair turned into two circles:

It's so inconsistent that the only logical explanation is that she sometimes uses a headband and sometimes she dyes it for whatever reason. Or sometimes her inhuman nature just spontaneously changes the color of her hair, because why the hell not? Her sister has hair-related powers, so maybe it's in the Amaquelin genes.

Anyway, looking at old art, I do believe the original intent was for her to be wearing a band and other artists just got it wrong in the future.

I also heard that originally, it was a head band. Somewhere around late '90's or 2000, it became her hair wave pattern.

I’m going to say she left the bands on for so long that they left a dark mark on her hair.

    No-Prize is mine.

Oh, and I love the way she looks masked.

Never saw that rain shower scene with Pietro before!

Also, rare to see Crystal creating rain shower-- not sure I ever saw her do that before. Good usage of her power!

Crystal can be seen in the new gameinformer video, highlighting a boss fight with Venom and Elektro. Unfortunately, Crystal only uses fire abilities in this video, but it's nice to finally see her a bit in action!

Her character model looks really nice and her movements are very elegant and feminine. I like what I am seeing so far.

    Thanks Keyotheseasons

No problem. It is just so nice to see some Inhuman representation. Hopefully her sister and brother-in-law aren't too far behind.
