I hope not. No offence to Aquaman but a spin-off should allow non-headline characters to get some focus (you know who I'm hoping for personally but there's also characters like the Sea Devils, Tempest etc.) Every character has their fans and those fans deserve something.
Let's say that only 7 rogues are going to remain proprietary to the Aquaverse franchise.
As an Aquaman fan, which 7 would make your cut?
Or, if you can't think of 7 Aqua rogues, which non-Aquaverse supervillains would you poach from other DC franchises?
Full disclosure: not an Aquaman fan myself per se, but I did read some of the 1991 ongoing series and the 1994 ongoing series, and saw the movie, so I have a little familiarity but not much.
My list:
1. Black Manta
2. Ocean Master
3. Piranha Man
4. King Shark / Shark God
5. Trench Queen (?)
6. The Thirst
7. Queen Clea (poached from Wonderverse)
I admit, my list shows my unfamiliarity with the Aquaman mythos. I trust others can come up with better lists.

We are the Dora Milaje. We are the daughters of the 18 tribes of Wakanda. We are the teeth of the Panther God. Out of 10,000 years of sweat and bloodshed and battle are we born. We are the women of this ancient land. Deadliest of the species. And our time has come!
Black Manta
Ocean Master
Nereus
Siren
King Shark
The Shark (Poached from Green Lantern)
The Trench
I asked this in the Namor Appreciation Thread but I wanted to know about DC Atlantis: Do we know of any holidays that the Atlanteans celebrate? Do they have any kind of new years celebration? Do they have a holiday where they give thanks for anything? Atlantis has been portrayed as a warrior culture so I wouldn't be surprised if they had a few holidays based off of previous wars or battles.

What's the difference between the following villains:
A. The Shark
B. King Shark
C. Shark God
Separately, is Siren the one raped Arthur by deception (pretending to be Mera so Arthur went and had sex with her not knowing it was Siren instead)?
Or am I getting that story mixed up?
I don't know enough about the Shark themed characters but, yes, Siren is the one who raped/seduced Aquaman. I really think Bunn should have put a little more thought into that scene. Especially in regards to how it would come across to us fans. I wouldn't be surprised if a writer decides to pick up that plot point and reveal that Aquaman and Siren have a secret child together.

A- The Shark was originally a normal tiger shark that was mutated into humanoid form by exposure to nuclear waste. He has immense psychic powers, including matter manipulation, illusions and psychically instilling fear into targets. He started off as a Green Lantern villain but has tangled with Aquaman too, most notably when he once conquered Atlantis.
B- King Shark is a demi-god, son of a Hawaiian shark god. He has immense strength and endurance but doesn't have The Shark's psychic powers. He started off as a Superboy villain and has been on the Suicide Squad.
C- Shark God is King Shark's father.
I hope this helps.
