Question 1995 TV ad for Chef Boyardee canned X-Men Pasta....

    (via Reddit)

You set them free ... and then you eat them? Seems anti-mutant to me.

The pasta representations of the X-Men were uncannily accurate. Admire the claws of Pasta Wolvie and the beauty of Pasta Rogue.

Also, I want to know what the mystery super villain pasta was.

I once visited an actual salt mine that didn’t contain that level of sodium.

40% of sodium, holy crap. Were they trying to kill children through heart disease?

80% if you are the whole can which I'm guessing most did.

When I was in college, I found these at a discount store (I think they were past the expiration date) and bought every can they had (dozens of them). I had never eaten Chef Boyardee growing up so I had no idea what it tasted like. But it had X-Men on it, so I had to buy it and it seemed like cheap food. Then I ate it and... ugh. So disappointed. I ended up adding it to macaroni and regular tomato sauce.
