Sheesh, why the hang up on 5 bucks, seriously? There are some books that cost more than this dnd and people didn't have an issue. 40 pages is more than normal.

A few things Jinny is short for Virginia, which is wher I think Jonah Hex was from, not where the story took place. Secondly, she's likely from one of the neighboring states, and not directly from Kansas.

Both Jon and Kon can use the name. No one mistakes Miles for Peter, there were three flashes, and both Tim and Damian wear different outfits. No one is going to mistake them for one another.

My only hope is that someone draw Jon as 14 or younger like 12 or something if we had to age him up. Also, hoping he and Kon will meet and be like brothers honestly.

They could even return Chris as nightwing. So these two can be a duo.
I miss Chris, people forget him.

They can revert him back to good. Since the timeline is in flux or whatever they can pull something out of their assess. And the current lor zod is same age as Jon was. so they can age him up as well. Come on, having a modern day nightwing and flamebird will be awesome.
It would be doubly cool since this time it will be superman's Foster son and biological son.who take the mantle. This is just an idea ofcourse.

I don't think Chris is evil. He is pretty brutal and a little bloodthirsty, but I mean, he got aged up, confused, aged back down, flashpointed, and finally got to actually grow up with his actual parents, who are assholes. Somewhere in there might still be the little boy that went to live with Superman ... then got mucked with by an avian night lord space god from the Phantom Zone ... then hung out with a pretty redhead girl for a while hunting Phantom Zone Criminals.

But there has always been kryptonIan nightwing and flamebird. From what I know Clark was the first nightwing. And Jimmy was the first flamebird.

Any why does there being one mean Jon HAS to be it?

And it hasn't been used at all times.post crisis I think we only had kara and Karen in a pocket universe in 1 lol story use the names and Chris and thara during the new krypton story using the names,so it's not used all the time or enough to need to be used, and to be given to a kid who can stand on his own charactization easily.

The alternative is Jon sharing a mantle which is OK. And your suggestion is like calling Conner Metropolis kid. "Superlad" just is not a sustainable title or mantle. With this, Jon gets to have a Mantle that has a history and a legacy. Teams him up with his brother, who in the past was nightwing. Jon and Chris can have space adventures. It would be cool to see Clark deal with the duo. It won't affect earth nightwing . Besides didn't bette choose a different code name?

Basic question from a lapsed reader somewhat out of the loop: how are all these YOUNG JUSTICE characters suddenly back in continuity? FLASHPOINT wiped them out, and though REBIRTH ostensibly brought many characters back, we haven't seen some of these particular characters until now. Where did they all come from? Where have they been? Moreover, are they completely the way they were back in their heyday?

Bart returned during flash War. Kon was said to be in gemworld. Why?we don't know.his origin is tricky. Superman reborn showed death of superman, that did not have conner.

As said, Bart popped back up at the end of Flash War (not counting a brief appearance in a Super Sons/Teen Titans crossover that also had Connor). But the real kicker, is why Tim suddenly Robin again out of nowhere? Last seen in Detective Comics, he was Red Robin, and left with Stephanie to go to college.

The alternative is far superior, and brings more hype to the superBOY name.

Superlad is a play on the old Legion codenames, and is nothing like calling SB Metropolis kid.superlad represents Jon just as well as superboy does, probably better if he was still 10.

So superlad isnt as sustainable as flamebird,we will have to disagree on that big time.

Having to use another person's history as a crutch is no way to have a kid stand on his own.

Jon and lor are not brothers, they would be considered sworn enemies now,and lor has none of his old history,he isnt the same anymore.

I can see Jon and lor having to team up for things sure, just not exactly the way you do.

    Hawkfire lol

Bart returned at the end of a Flash issue. He hasn't interacted with the Flash Family(or what's left of it)since his return.

No idea where Kon or Cassie have been. Will probably get explained eventually.

Based on previews, it seems like Bendis has reverted them back to their original selves. People have complained about character regression but rebooting Tim, Kon, Cassie and Bart is absolutely the right call.

Yeah, New 52 Teen Titans has basically been deleted from the timeline, and the old continuity has reasserted itself (case in point, Justice League Odyssey, Cyborg and Starfire are old friends - but never met in New 52. And Kid/Red Devil appeared with his history intact in Heroes in Crisis, he should be powerless according to his New 52 appearance). However, the teens have been affected by the missing years, and just as Beast Boy and Raven are back to being teenagers in Titans, the same goes for the YJ4. That's probably why Bart's back to being Impulse again. They're not fully reverted though. Cassie's not wearing a black wig and glasses and Conner's just been AWOL, not born anew.
