It's official I've lost all respect over DC and the Flash mythos.

Call me back when they get a proper company wide reboot again and a proper Flash family again.

For some reason, I can't see the cover on my computer.

(Also, not sure what's so terrible about this that's worth mentioning in the "Barry Allen: The Flash (Silver/Bronze Ages + current) Appreciation 2019" thread?)

Maybe it shows something that we often do not see anymore in Barry's comics and that is caring about the well being of those around him and his proteges. Honestly DC is truly ruining Barry as a mentor in the DCU.

Lets start with the missing family thing of Wally and whatever Barry would at least try to do in his spare time to help. Plus the overall fact that Bruce calls out Barry for forgetting Wally.

I'm just saying I recall that in tough times Barry was there for Wally and vice versa, but now that they're together again it seems less of that.

But it really doesn't seem necessary to harp on things like that in a Barry Allen Appreciation thread . . .

Anyone read this weeks issue? I'm really enjoying this year one so far.

I kind of want an "Old Man Barry" mini series. I hope at the very least that by the end of Williamson's run that regular Barry is written more like this version.

Yeah, it's been great. I love Barry's evolution so far from wallflower to hero so far and the future twist was great. I can't wait to see what comes next.
    Currently Reading:

DC: The Flash, Challenge of the Super Sons, Nightwing

Image: Lazarus: Risen, The Old Guard, Black Magick

    Boom: Mighty Morphin', Power Rangers

Joshua Williamson is doing a great job at making The Turtle into a legitimate threat. Makes me wonder why something like this has never been done before.
Imagine being proud to have negative traits. I can’t relate.

DC: Justice League, The Flash, Justice League Dark, Superman, Action Comics, Green Arrow, Justice League Odyssey, The Terrifics, Teen Titans, Titans, Brimstone, Female Furies, Damage, Heroes In Crisis

Marvel: The Punisher, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Venom, X-23, Cloak and Dagger, Jessica Jones, Sentry

Indies: Unnatural, Jeepers Creepers, Project Superpowers, Black Hammer, Ninja-K

I'm pretty sure Johns did it too.
