If that's the Wally era. I wouldn't know. I don't follow the character.

Love Johns's run, but Williamson's version of the Turtle seems scarier so far. Definitely.

Just read Flash #71, I'm really enjoying Year One so far. I feel like when it's all said and done Williamson will be to Barry what Waid was to Wally; definitely one of the top-tier Flash writers.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

"Old Man Barry" is one of the best ideas I've seen for Barry in a long time.

It's an idea he already used. Heck, he's not even the first.

Old Man Barry is always in a dystopia/apocalyptic scenario, though.

I agree. It also helps that I love his design. Hopefully this is a thing that keeps playing a part during the rest of this run. I want to find out what happened with his kids.

As much as what's going on over in HiC with Wally pisses me off, this run has kept me really invested.

So, how long until STAR, Chyre, Morlillo, Cisco, Wells, Killer Frost become staples in this series?

If it hasn't happened when the show was at it's most popular, I don't see it happening now.

(I'm honestly surprised Williamson hasn't brought back Chyre or Morillo yet though).

I think DC even told Williamson not to use or bring in a Harrison Wells character.

My best guess is that he considers Chyre and Morillo "Wally characters". I know he's talked about not wanting to use Wally's villains without him present, so maybe it's the same kind of deal. Would love to see them though.

I wonder what the objection to Wells is on the comic book side of things, considering how the character (in his various forms) is very popular on the TV series.
