I love having Angela back, but to be honest Ive not been thrilled with her representation in AoG. The quirks in her personality seem gone, and instead she seem very generically driven thus far. Her "Nothing for nothing" code has yet to really bubble up in any interesting way beyond the reveal she's driven to get Sera back, but that lines up with pretty much any heroes morals so it doesn't feel unique. As mentioned her ribbons act more like decoration, and even her ability to change her weapons as needed isn't touched much. One of her appeals in her own series was how comfortably out of place she was everywhere and Sera was often the translator that made her "work" and not simply tear everyting up using her own moral code.

Angela in this instance is a simple leader out of need. Maybe its a side effect of a team book not having the time to focus on her.
