    Rorschach wouldn't really fit Eddie.

Rorschach is a far-right extremist. His personal politics are very bad and his personal views on things like women are incredibly problematic. He may adhere to his moral code quite strictly but the problem isn't entirely his code, it's his politics and his resultant personality. It wouln't really gel with Venom because all Venom is at his core is a disturbed variation on Spider-man. While you can argue Rorschach in the vein that Venom could be returned to being a villain, the continuity doesn't work for it unless we pull it out of our ass. What's more is that I can't recall any instance of Eddie, Mac, or Flash being anything like Rorschach. Maybe Maniac could work for it but we are long past Rorschach being a foundation for Venom because Venom is more the disturbed Spider-man, rebound love interest angle.

Rorschach's problems go beyond the politics. You could imagine the same disregard for his opponents/ unwilling to compromise with different political beliefs. But it is a bit of a model for how to depict a disturbed protagonist, and part of Venom's core is that there's something not right with the guy. Look at his reasons for hating Spidey.
